Data Centre Project Manager

To support its projects, an international company is seeking a Data Centre Project Manager.

You wish:

• Lead data center fit-outs and installations during the construction period.
• Create and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.

Responsibilities:

• Be familiar with data center infrastructure such as structural ceilings, hot aisle containment, and structured cabling.
• Work closely with contractor teams and sub-contractors to ensure the smooth running of projects through the life cycle.
• Coordinate with the delivery team and line of business managers.
• Control workflow, schedule assignments, evaluate the course of the project, and report its status to management and stakeholders.
• Generate progress tracking reports.
• Manage stakeholders, including internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrate good commercial acumen.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously, both large and small.
• Work with the designer and solutions team to estimate new projects for quotations.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
• Experience in infrastructure project management.
• Understanding of data infrastructure, hardware, and cabling.
• Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficient in Chinese and English; a third language is beneficial but not essential.
