Head of Data Science

To support its projects, an international company is seeking a Head of Data Science.

You wish to:

• Drive and grow our Data Science and ML engineering teams, with a passion for large-scale optimization challenges.
• Design a high performance, robust, scalable, and flexible architecture to train models and run them in production.

Your future missions:

• Identify data science needs and design systems, especially when launching new projects.
• Collaborate closely with other engineering teams to refine and develop cutting-edge infrastructure and distributed machine learning services.
• Stay abreast of emerging technology best practices and advocate for these within the organization.
• Contribute to promoting a strong engineering culture and passion for quality and excellence.

The ideal Head of Data Science:

• Product-focused mindset: use the most appropriate ML/DS toolset to solve our customers’ challenges.
• Master’s Degree in a technical field (Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Math).
• Solid background in building high performance and responsive data science frameworks.
• Knowledge of the Adtech ecosystem.
• Passion for data ecosystems and experience in shipping large scale projects with multiple dependencies across teams.
• Experience developing Python code in constraint/high load environments.
• Fluent in English (and ideally also in French).
