Machine Learning Project Manager

To support its projects, an international company is seeking a Machine Learning Project Manager.

You wish to:

• Lead Machine Learning Engineering activities within a team of 4 ML Engineers.
• Collaborate closely with Data Architects, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, business teams, and Data Officers.
• Oversee projects from start to finish: prioritization, estimation, planning, and performance tracking.
• Understand and define project needs, create project plans, write specifications, conduct code reviews, qualify tools and processes, ensure production deployment, and maintain operational status.

Your future missions:

• Build application architectures, particularly processing chains (cloud, Python, databases, orchestrator) in coordination with Data Engineers and Data Architects.
• Act as a Business Analyst for projects that develop or enhance Data Science tools and solutions (JupyterLab, Airflow, GPU).
• Coordinate and challenge multidisciplinary teams on score industrialization topics (Data Engineers, Data Scientists, ML Engineers).
• Participate or coordinate transversal projects (Data Science Steering Committee, Trusted AI).
• Support the teams with your expertise.

The ideal Machine Learning Project Manager:

• Advanced knowledge in project management.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming.
• Advanced understanding of machine learning frameworks and algorithms (scikit-learn, xgboost, lightgbm, pandas, numpy).
• Strong interest in data and business use cases (functional understanding).
• Autonomous and capable of guiding ML Engineers with established best practices (Python code, SQL query optimizations, algorithm optimizations and choices).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
